I'm Lonely

I seek your affection,
I don't want to be alone,
To be exact, it's not you whom I want,
But you are the one who is always there for me.
I give you just enough so you stay
I get restless by the idea that you'll leave me
The love you give me is suffocating,
I'm too afraid to tell you, nor am I willing to leave you.
We live as parasites that suck off each other,

This love is detrimental to us
If someone would ask me why I do this?
